Perfecting the Superman

Uncle Brett (my brother) perfected his "superman"

jump this past weekend AND lived to tell about it!

They Grow So Fast

I can't believe how fast things change in life. Seems like just yesterday I was in high school (ha, ha, not hardly). Our house is fairly crazy these days, but once in a while someone might look at us (like in the picture) and think that we have it maybe a little bit together. I think it a miracle just that we can all get up, fed, dressed, and to church by 9:00 am.

My Handsome Boys

Could they get any cuter (Dad included)? I just don't think that there is anything better than when they get dressed up for church on Sunday mornings. My little boys look so grown up in the shirts and ties...like they're just around the corning from going on a mission. They are growing up so fast. And...of course Jeff looks handsome, as always.

Things In Common

These are some girls after my own heart. . .

Cassie and Sierra could spend hours in a good bubble bath. They love to turn the jets on and get the bubbles going up over their heads. That little dot in the back is Sierra...we have to be careful when she's in there or we might lose her.

Sierra helped me make dinner the other night (always a fight at our house over who's day it is to help in the kitchen). We made a ham and cheese braid with ranch inside and to dip in and then we also made Parmesan bread twists. The bread twists are almost as good as the Pizza Factory twists up here. Thank goodness a Pizza/Pasta Factory finally opened up about 20 minutes from our house a while back...I was starting to have withdrawls.

Flash Back...

The girls found the dress up box the other day and in it also found my old Super Stepper costumes. Jackpot!!! They spent hours dressing up in that strobe-light reminiscent dance outfit and debated all Sunday afternoon about who got to wear it and for how long. Wow, it really brought back the memories. They even tried on the sweatsuits, t-shirts, pom-poms, and hair pieces. The best was when Cassie put the fanny-pack around her waist and then asked what is was and what is was for! Alright, so I didn't realize I was that old that kids wouldn't even know what a fanny pack was or what it was for. I'm sure it's bringing back the memories for some of you out there (you don't have to admit it).

Never Enough Time In The Day

Seems that these days there just isn't enough time in the day to get all the things done that I'd like to get done.

Happy Birthday Erica!
(stole a pic off your blog)

Great sister-in-law

Great listener

Great friend

We Love You! Sorry you didn't get the phone call to say so, but Sundays tend to be a little crazy around here. Hey, at least this Sunday went better than last...at least Shawn didn't rip the shirt right off his chest this Sunday.

Blogger Withdrawl

Okay, I've finally found 5 minutes, but I probably only have 5 minutes. So much has happened in the last few weeks and I just haven't gotten around to updating my blog. So, here goes:

My littlest guy is now 4 months old. Hard to believe, but Ryan is still madly in love with his little brother.
Happy 34th Birthday, sweetheart! I love you so much & am so thankful to have you in my life! I think Ryan was more excited about the Wii that I bought than Jeff was, but I had to find a reason not to give it to Ryan so that we could still take it away when we needed to.

Easter was full of about one too many Easter Hunts. The kids all had a great time, but when it was all over I made Jeff take all the candy to the workshop so that I wouldn't eat all the Peanut Butter Cup Eggs. Lots of fun, but busy, busy, busy!

Thanks to Britta (and her family) we were able to go to the Jazz game the other night. We had a great time eating in the VIP Lounge, sitting on the court, and getting treats in the lounge at half-time. We had a great time seeing how the "other half" lives life! Thanks for taking us with you Britta & Craig.

In a strange and unusual twist of fate, we've now ended up with Jeff's kids full time!!!

You know, we've been praying for this for years, but now I'm beginning to see that sometimes you do get what you pray for, so you'd better be ready. What a treat to get five ready for bed before 8pm (I'm not really a mom after 8) and to get four ready for school by 8am. A little, no a lot, overwhelming. How do you gals do it that have 4-5 kids and still have a little time for yourself? Okay, I'll quit being selfish...I'll probably have to let go of the "having time for myself" thing for a while.

It's Official

Craig & Britta are getting married on June 7. Anniversary: 6/7/8...even I could remember that one. We're so excited for them & we LOVE Britta. I think Craig is one lucky guy to find such a great girl, but Craig's a pretty great catch as well.

LOVE the ring. Good job, Craig. Can't wait to see it with a band (maybe we can work of Jeff finally getting one for me?)Congratulations you two! We love you and can't wait to see you again.
