Disneyland Advice

Okay, so we're off on a last minute decision trip to Disneyland the week after Thanksgiving. We went two years ago with Ryan and had a blast. What advice do you all have for me? Baby advice while at the park? Any little tidbits that I won't think of would be great. Who's been lately? What's changed? What did you like? Hate? Forget? Wish you would've taken? Were glad you did take? Wish you would've left at home? I want it to be a fun trip, but Nick is such a hard baby.

I Spoke Too Soon

So, I guess I spoke too soon on Nick's sleeping habits. He pretty much still wakes several times a night and just cries for like and hour to and hour and a half before he goes back to sleep. He's done this for three nights now and it is very frustrating.
On the same note, Ryan has had the flu for going on three days now. I thought he was over it yesterday, but last night it started up again. Great birthday present for me...cleaning up puke!
Britta and Craig came up to see their new niece in Lehi, Riley's new little girl (Britta's brother) They stayed with us and we so enjoyed being able to have them over for a few days. We wished we all lived closer together.
I finally got a chance to take a few pictures of these two cute kids. Since the day we moved here, I've been dying to use this old red caboose near our house for pictures. I think they turned out darling. These pictures are a surprise for their mom who is going through chemo right now. Miss C was such a natural in front of the camera..."how about this pose" "how about over here." We had a lot of fun and I got to play around with my camera and Photoshop...how lucky I am!

Miracles Do Happen

A miracle has happened here at the Stanworth household...Nick has slept through the night for TWO nights in a row. I quit, cold turkey, nursing three days ago and Nick started to sleep. Coincidence??? I THINK NOT! Now, this turn in events leads me to believe that it was me for the past 11 months causing his lack of sleep. For 11 months my sweet, but hard, baby boy hasn't slept more than two hours at a time at night and rarely more than 1 hour at at time during the day. He did improve a bit at about 7 months and started taking about 1 hour naps instead of two or three 20 minute naps, but that was the extent of his good sleep. Now I guess I'll just have to feel bad that for 11 months I didn't get more than 2 hours of sleep at a time out of my own doing! So for those of you who listened to me complain endlessly about being SO tired, I'm sorry and it is all my own doing that he didn't sleep. Must've been something in the milk? I can only hope that here, on night 3, he sleeps well again and that this is starting a new and easier stage for him.

I Voted

I braved the rain/snow to vote today!

CS3 Design Premium

I'm so excited...as we speak I'm installing Adobe Photoshop CS3 onto my computer. I can't wait to find out what fun tricks it can do. I'm such and amateur, but I do love to play around with pictures when I get a few spare minutes (which is seldom).
