Finally, September 1st is just hours away. I'm a week over-due and I still feel great, so we'll head to the hospital to be induced some time tomorrow. I'm kind of bummed because I was #1 one the hospital list, but for some reason they had me on the C-section list instead of the induction list. Now we just have to wait half the day until they call us an hour before I'm supposed to be there. Good thing they give us an hour because we live an hour away from the hospital. I'm surprised that it has been so easy to go a week past my due date and I'm glad I'm being induced or I'd really have to start wondering when this baby would ever get here. Let the countdown begin!
No Baby Yet
So, I'm officially two days past my due date and still no baby. I feel great and I'm still holding out for the first of September. I'm not sure if this baby can get any bigger, but either way we're just days away. I can't believe that we don't know the gender of this baby, but Jeff seems to think that it is really exciting not knowing. I, myself, don't see the excitement in not knowing...even after all this waiting it seems silly to not find out and be prepared for what gender of baby we will have. I haven't bought a thing. I take that back...I bought diapers and one boy outfit and one girl outfit. That is it. I haven't made anything, decorated anything, or picked out favorite names. It really almost seems LESS exciting to not know what we're having, but at least when it is all over Jeff will be glad that we did it this way and I'll be able to tell people my honest opinion on the subject. On the other hand, I have washed, scrubbed, touched-up, and cleaned-out everything inside (and outside) of my house. I had my windows cleaned, I scrubbed my floors and baseboards, I meticulously went around my house with white paint and a craft paintbrush and touched up all the places on the baseboards that the vacuum or kids had nicked, I dusted, shifted cupboards and closets, and have pretty much done all that I can think to do before we have another noise-maker in our home. I guess that all means that I'm pretty much finally getting out of denial and realizing that we really are going to have a baby here in a few days.
Here are my guesses, so that I can make it official:
I'm not going to guess gender because I have no clue.
Birthday: September 1st Weight: 7 lbs 14 oz (Nick was 7lbs 10 oz) Length: 21"
Well, the denial was nice while it lasted. How about your guesses? Wish me an easy delivery like my last two!!!

#3 Has Arrived

Eliza Lynn King was born yesterday, on August 8th. After a long day in the hospital, it was determined that Britta's tailbone was in the way and was preventing Eliza from being born. Just before midnight Britta had a C-section and Eliza came out healthy @ 7 lbs 9 oz and 21".
She is so beautiful!
Now only a few more weeks until the last of the 4 babies in Jeff & my family will be born. Technically we only have two weeks until I'm due, but I'm still feeling great and thinking I can go that third week to make it to September. Guess we'll wait and see.
