in the last month...

In the last (little more than a) month...
I turned the big three oh!
Ryan turned seven.
Nick gashed his forehead after being shoved into a boulder in our yard.
Nick turned two.
Ryan had strep.
Nick got his tonsils & adenoids taken out (miserable).
Ryan got strep, again.
and
Nick got scarlet fever.
Thank goodness Barrett is healthy through all of this.

Despite all the craziness that has been going on in our lives, we did have a wonderful Christmas with my whole family at our home.

(there are pictures to document all of this, but I'm needed by kids...maybe later)

Please, New Year, come soon because I need a break!!!

Look-a-Likes?

Maybe it's just me, but I think Barrett really resembles his Uncle Craig.

I'm Still Here...Just Ten Steps Behind on Life

"I am selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." --Marilyn Monroe--

Kind of how I feel lately.

(Thanks Christie)

My Little Monsters on Halloween

I'm a little (okay, a lot) slow, but I couldn't resist some Halloween pics.
Isn't the shot of Barrett & Eliza about the cutest thing?
We were in St. George for Eliza's blessing, so we
did the whole trick-or-treat thing at Gram's house (yes, my mom did dress up).

Also, I laughed my butt off at Craig & Britta this year...
if only Jeff and I were that much fun.
You really had to see it in person to get the full effect.

(thanks for letting me steal the pics, Britta)

Indian Peaks Elk Hunt 2009

We hunted "Spike Only" this year
because I wanted
Meat in the Freezer.
We ran out of elk meat in June
and we didn't draw a
cow tag...who doesn't draw a cow tag?

Now that's what I call...
"Haulin' Ass!!!"
You go Craig (the whole hind end
is strapped to his back).
We couldn't have gotten it
off the mountain without you.

Our Sweet Barrett (and Nick & Ryan, too)

I finally took some pictures of Barrett before he lost that new baby look. He is absolutely the BEST BABY EVER!!! I truly did not know that babies could be so good. He has really just settled right in to our home and made everything even so much better than it already was.
Anyhow...here are some snapshots of Barrett (better than the blurry one that I posted previously) and of course I had to put pictures of my other boys, too.

I love this one!

Every Mom has to have one like this, I had my brother take it.

My brother told me I had to post this picture
because he thought it was groovy.

And Nick...

and Ryan, too!

It's A...

(excuse the blur...Dad's been in charge of the camera)
Boy!

Barrett Samuel Stanworth was born at 2:15 pm on September 1st.
Only 4 hours of labor and delivery...don't know why I'm so lucky to have it so easy.
He weighed 8 pounds and 11 ounces!!!
He is 19" long and so perfect and we are so in love with him.
We are already so blessed by having him in our home.
More info and pictures to come when mom is feeling more human (soon I hope).
